Since December 2022, SYLC has been joining hands with our mother club SRC to help the Yeollim Yilter project – Vocational Rehabilitation Facility, which assists people with developmental disabilities.

In February, March, and April, in addition to the SYLC members, several one-day volunteers have shown interest and visited the project with us.

“The community service at Yeolim Yilter is not only about making gift bags but also about spiritual and civic development. God has told us to love our brothers and sisters, and by doing a small act of love we all can be a bit closer to Him. The world needs a bit more love, and I believe that by starting with a single gesture of love, we can reach the other and the next one. Little by little we can build a more peaceful world to leave for our kids.”

While we make the gift bags with those assisted by the project, we have the opportunity to talk, exchange experiences and laughs, and of course, we reserve some time for fun and jokes after work! This project is a very valuable opportunity for us to understand different realities and realize the importance of ensuring inclusion for all.
