On April 28, the Rotary International District 3650 held its 61st district conference at the Hyatt Hotel.
The event featured inspiring presentations of the work done during the year by Rotary clubs, as well as speeches by the mayor of Seoul, and fellow Rotarians from Vietnam and Japan. As always, it was an inspiring and rewarding event.
Our newest member Yena shared her remarks after attending the Conference.
“As a new member of SYLC, it was a great opportunity to learn the long history behind the Rotary Club. I enjoyed every second of meeting with great leaders. DG B.R. Sohn was giving many inspirational speechless. Judy put lots of work to take care of this whole event and prepare warm and sweet goodies to share! It also could never be done without Ray, Simone, Ben, Maya, Jess, Thomas, Kent, and other members. I’m again proud to be a member of this family and want to attribute even more to the future works! Once again, congratulations on the big achievements of Seoul RC!”
At the end of the event, we had a delicious dinner with amazing performances, and our mother club, SRC, received three awards: Best Club Award, Best PR Award, and Senior Proud Rotarian for Rotarian Soon. We are really proud of being part of this remarkable club!
